BLACKEST RED, Book 3 in the New York Times, USA Today, and International Bestselling series

No matter how hard I’ve tried to let go of Mister Black, the memories of us together torture me. They’re an unforgettable reminder of a life I can’t have for many reasons.

Burying myself in work mostly keeps thoughts of him to a screaming minimum, until he's thrust into my life under circumstances beyond my control. Despite my need for his protection, this time I’m not sure if I’m strong enough to survive with my heart intact.

He is Black: a fierce protector and irresistible charmer.

I am Red: a trouble magnet and rainbow weaver.

Together we ignite. Explosive colors merging at the hottest melting point.

Excitement to Disappointment

After completing Scarlett Red, and dangling from a cliff, I jumped right into the third story featuring Sebastian & Talia.
Story line was clunky & unnecessarily dragged out, contradicting itself a couple of times (handcuffs w/R & B -I thought the initials could’ve Regan & Bash. Aunt Vanessa’s “confession” came out of nowhere. Vanessa wasn’t ever depicted as a controlling woman. Her plan to get Nathan out of the picture, however, seemed to work out well, he’s a weenie. But the character is Street smart, would question why a woman hired to breakup a marriage over a year ago wants info on her niece-not just give it freely. Finally, Talia questions if she has misread Sebastian’s “cues” in too many chapters. Either she’s smart enough to bust a sex trafficking ring OR she’s a 16 year old clueless child. The page-long “questioning of cues “ wouldn’t be as annoying if they weren’t nearly verbatim of every on she has!
Too many characters left hanging. Again, if Talia is a strong woman there would never be a problem of blurring the line of professionalism w/the Assistant Editor. Finally, while the smexy scenes were good, physics should not be ignored-even in a fictional story (unless it is a Sci-fi.

Steamy, romantic with twists

Blackest Red...What to say about this book and really this whole series, AMAZING! Again Ms. Michelle's story telling is flawless. She keeps the reader on edge with all the plot twists. I liked the way she developed the secondary characters. The sexual tension between Talia and Sebastian skyrockets in this third installment of the series. Talia has loved Seb for years, but she needs more than just the physical aspect of their relationship. It was wonderful to read the slow burn of their relationship unfold. I love that Seb is such a dirty talker, but also so tender at times. This was an amazing end to Talia and Seb's story and I am sad that it is over...But I am looking forward to reading Cass and Calder's story.
