I love this series! The characters are interesting and vibrant. The locations either make you NEVER want to visit or rush right there. The story twists and turns at every possible time, and keeps you wanting more. More chapters, stories, books, characters, everything. You name it and I want more.

Jean Carlson has done a bang up job with this (soon to be) trilogy. Unable to wait for vol 3. Hurry Jean, hurry.
Had me captured from chapter one.

Fantastic, original story. Author does action well and toes the line between adult language and situations and your typical, more lighthearted style of writing you get from most books in the genre. Not too vulgar, but not unrealistically rainbows and sunshine. But the unique story in a VERY saturated genre is what pulls you in. Not to mention how well written it is. Good series’ don’t need constant action to keep you engaged, and this is a perfect example; though there is still a good amount of fighting and action to be read here. Was very pleasantly surprised. Well done author.
