Black's Desire 3

BLACK'S DESIRE 3: "SAVAGE"

By Levar Miller

Three years ago, Malik "Black" Savage made a decision that changed everything. He stepped away from the streets, secured his family, and focused on building a legitimate empire. With his brother finally released from prison, Black believed the hardest battles of his life were behind him.

He was wrong.

Now his business is expanding from Philadelphia into Memphis and South Carolina, bringing new money, new opportunities, and new enemies. Black has worked too hard to risk everything he has built, but when his wife is harassed during a business trip to Memphis, the man who promised to leave the streets behind begins to realize that some problems cannot be handled from behind a desk.

Black, Dill, and Tone head south to handle business personally.

But Memphis is only the beginning.

Back in Philadelphia, an eighteen-year-old named Elias is carrying the weight of a past Black thought was buried. Connected to an enemy from Black's earlier life, Elias has something to prove—and he is willing to cross every line to make his name known.

When one of Black's closest friends is murdered, the old Malik Savage begins to emerge.

Black has spent three years building a life worth protecting. Now he has to decide how much of the man he used to be he is willing to bring back to protect it.

Because Elias has mistaken Black's retirement for weakness.

And Black is about to teach him the difference between a boy playing gangster and a man who has already survived everything he was supposed to fear.

In Black's world, family comes first, loyalty has a price, and every empire eventually gets tested.

This time, Black isn't fighting for the streets.

He's fighting for everything he built.

And when Malik Savage comes back, somebody is going to learn why the name never disappeared.
