Suspense,horror, and found it so difficult to stop reading and eventually go to bed. I thrilled with the characters as they fought through the evil,and now am very sad to not have another book to continue the saga. Please continue with your with your imaginative writings, Ms. Walsh.

The main character Venn Connel who is a trained assassin by trade is in the biggest fight to protect the friends and family she loves and cares for. The man who has stolen her heart is Will is a magic user of which he is also still learning how to control a demon beast that has created from a dark magic spell. The armies that Queen Ansala builds go against a army of fighters that are created from people that are either severely injured or dead and are like a walking dead but with a body armor of blood and are hard to kill...
I found this book full of action with lots of love entwined around Venn and Will... I believe it is there strong love and trust that helps aid them in winning the war...
