Nurse Jolie Guenther has just moved into the house by the cemetery with her roommates. If the location isn't eerie enough, she starts hearing strange sounds at night.

Luckily, the cute deputy she’s encountered a few times is available to help any time she needs him, whether he’s rounding up trespassers, taking her shooting or making her a brisket.

A series of crises throw them together, so they work side by side to help their neighbors, finding that the more they build on each other’s strengths, the deeper their feelings go. This good-hearted, hard-working woman is reason enough to stay right where he is.
