Blaze

This was a surprisingly really good read. EMT Chance arrives at a car accident and finds it's his wife that left him a couple of years before and a toddler boy, his son he knew nothing about. When Delia discovered she was pregnant, she panicked because of some childhood trauma, and ran away. But after having her son and realizing what she is keeping from the man she still loves, she heads home and hopefully forgiveness. These characters are well written, compelling, the book fast paced, full of sizzle, and more. Great read.

This seriously was the stupidest plot ever. What woman finds out she’s pregnant super excited about it and because of a simple accident of her husband to run away and leave. Regardless of whether she needed to “find herself”, she was wrong, regardless of whether it “bettered herself” in her mind for having done it she was still wrong. Honestly, I would’ve preferred the lead male to divorce her and have the story go on to be about him finding new love and one that he deserved that treated him with respect. Really disappointed because I like most of her books.

I’m a huge fan of this author and this series. However, I could not like female lead AT ALL. You need to learn to be independent and confident? Go to therapy. You don’t leave your husband and deprive him of his child. And the male lead- why the heck did he never say as much? He made a couple of well earned digs at her and that’s it. Minimum she should have begged his forgiveness.
Very frustrated reader.
