BLENDED LEARNING PEDAGOGY

This book was written to teach both pre-service and experienced teachers about Blended Learning. Technology is increasingly more apart of our lives; and as accessibility to the Internet becomes more common, we should use technology to increase our students’ learning. Past technological changes in education simply changed the device in which we used to deliver content (from chalkboards to overhead projectors to interactive whiteboards); but now, with web-based technologies, we can change not only how our content is delivered but why we deliver content (for mastery). This book has fourteen chapters about the what, how, and why’s behind today’s web-based, blended learning technologies. We’re entering an exciting, new era of education, so let’s learn how to use these technologies to make learning fun, interactive, and student-centered.
