Blind Trust

I am so sad that this was the final book of the SNAP team. We first meet Nicolas in Initium along with Lyla and the rest of the team. Right from the start I liked her personality. The hint of something more was fairly evident in their interactions. Blind Trust fulfilled it promises of this couple and how the rest of the team is doing.

I admire Lyla drive for right and wrong even though it can blind her to other dangers. Nicolas has his own demons to fight and overcome in order to have the life God wants him to have. I love the humor, friendship and love flowed through all the characters and highlighted how important our supporters are to our lives.

Loved this fast paced, romantic conclusion to the SNAP agency series! Natalie Walters really ends things with a bang. (IYKYK) There’s something here for everyone; heart pounding suspense, intrigue, international criminals, decades old secrets, humor, great friendships, and a slow build, grumpy/sunshine romance that will leave you swooning.

Lyla’s and Nicholas’ feelings for one another have been slowly building over the series. He’s the cautious to her impetuosity. When a mission nearly ends in tragedy, Nic considers accepting a position with the military in Syria using his bomb expertise. Lyla’s recklessness mostly leads to a mission’s successful conclusion, but with Nicholas’ growing feelings, it’s hard for him to stand by and see her put herself in danger. When a criminal Lyla helped put in prison puts a target on her back, will Nicholas be able to help protect her, or will her recklessness put them all in danger?

This book kept me quickly turning the pages and I’m sad to see the series come to an end. Hoping for a spin off! I loved watching Lyla and Nicholas grow closer and seeing previous characters again, especially Kekoa. The intriguing storyline builds and builds with each new clue to a dramatic conclusion that had me on pins and needles. It’s a must read for inspirational romantic suspense fans!

While it technically can be read as a standalone, I highly recommend reading the previous books. The author does a great job bringing new readers up to speed, but there are a lot of characters and circumstances they might find a bit complicated if they haven’t read any of the previous books. Author Natalie Walters has just released her final installment in the SNAP Series and she definitely ended this one on a big bang! From the first sentence to the last, you will be kept on the edge of your seat as you read this masterful suspense novel. Walters' leading character, Lyla, is dangerous, but in a good way. She is dangerous because she will leap into action sometimes without thinking things completely through in order to defend her fellow SNAP Agents. They love her but they worry about her living on the edge. No one worries about her more than Agent Nicolás Garcia. Nic is captivated by her but he is
scared to risk his heart to her because he knows what dangerous careers they have chosen and realizes how awful it would be to live without her. They find themselves in a situation that is more treacherous than anything SNAP has ever faced and one that affects Lyla personally. Nic finds he must choose to celebrate the special skill set God gave Lyla or end up with the heartache of a lifetime. This is a dynamic ending to this series!
