Re-read the original book RIGHT AFTER reading this book!

The original book suddenly became much richer and more enticing after I finished this Behind the Story, I HAD to open up the original book once more! What a way to increase the reading experience! Highly recommended!

Although it sets off as a book on cooking and on how to fill hunger, the book becomes more personal through the eyes of the writer, and from her experiences we get a glimpse of what it takes to become a good chef. Gabrielle Hamilton embarked on writing this book out of her need to share with the world bits and pieces of her 20-year experience in cooking.
