Wow what a read
This grabbed me from the beginning. It was a fast paced fun read.
Twin Demon Trackers
I give this book 3.5 stars. This was the first book by Sharon Stevenson that I read, so I wasn't sure what to expect. What I found was a fascinating mix of demon trackers, witches, fairies, vampires, and humans. This is the first book in The Gallows series. It is not a standalone as you know the story doesn't end at the end of the book. There is violence.
The book blurb adequately describes the storyline so I'm not going to repeat that info here. The author started right out with action of the twins Sarah and Shaun killing vampires and then crashing a prom. There is a lot more action as well as twists and turns, curses, blood bonds, and complicated relationships.
There are more books in the series, so there is plenty more of the story to hopefully answer the unanswered questions left after reading the first book.
There's nothing predictable about this book!
This story was slow and it left me wondering at the plot and where it was taking me. It felt like the information was coming out on a static line and you could only make out a few things at a time. It got pretty interesting at the end but I'm still confused as to what's happening. Maybe the second book will make things clearer. I must say that the confusion I felt in the story plot has me intrigued and I want to see where it goes. Trust me... There's nothing predictable about this story! Try it and see what you make of it.
