Well written, with a lot of good action. However, as a minor point,Corpus Christi is about 500 miles from the Texas panhandle !
Exciting and enjoyable. I highly recommend
Blood Country grabs you and never lets go!
When I got Blood Country I first downloaded Post the first book in the Byron Tibor series so I had an idea where Blood Country started.
Blood Country is a fast paced thriller. Even though the government that trained him consider him a killer, he has a surprising empathy for the people around him, sometimes to a fault. I couldn't help cheering for him throughout the book.
Bryon finds himself in a county in Texas that have its own set of rules. They are ruthless people that take advantage of the mostly Mexican population. He was arrested for walking on the road in this county, and soon realized that there are many people in power with the same last name. After bail is set at $10,000, Bryon decided to go to jail for 90 days. But as he soon found out, nobody ever leaves the prison unless they are in a body bag.
The story takes many twists and surprising turns. You keep reading long into the night, because Blood Country and Byron Tibor never let go! I'm ready for the next one, Mr. Black!
