Jane Yellowrock is a shape-shifting skinwalker who’s always up for a fight—even if it means putting her life on the line...
The Master of Natchez, Mississippi has a nasty problem on his hands. Rogue vampires—those who follow the Naturaleza and believe that humans should be nothing more than prey to be hunted—are terrorizing his city. Luckily, he knows the perfect skinwalker to call in to take back the streets.
But what he doesn’t tell Jane is that there’s something different about these vamps. Something that makes them harder to kill—even for a pro like Jane. Now, her simple job has turned into a fight to stay alive…and to protect the desperately ill child left in her care.

Most Excellent Read!
As per usual, Miz Faith Hunter has written a banging book. Her protagonist, Jane Yellowrock, hunted, sliced, diced, and grew as a character. There is non stop action, sexy vampires, witches, and Native American lore.
Faith has a unique style of writing that draws you in. You can easily take the dilemma's Jane faces, and find a way to connect them to your own life. The questioning about love, life and the religious world's acceptance or blatant denial of people who have differing opinions, are tough topics this author faces head on. Her heroine has flaws, and that is an awesome change in the sifi world.
In conclusion, I loved this book. It's a fast paced, non stop read you shouldn't miss. Now...where's the next book in the series? I'm impatiently waiting for it.
Faith Hunter has not failed yet to deliver a wonderful tail! I love the Jane Yellowrock series!! Strong characters, a woven web of how and why awaits you in this book. Don't question should you read it just do it!
