i literally hate myself so much for reading this book so fast and so soon. i should’ve waited until the third book came out or something because i literally finished it 2 days after it came out. now i’m stuck with a MAJOR cliff hanger☹️ literally such and amazing book.. Brees an amazing character, the storyline is perfect, and selwyn kane is hot. also william is the most precious thing on this earth, can’t forget about my girl alice, she was fresh air throughout the book. honestly just read it, it’s soo good. but if ur impatient like me just wait til she announces when the 3rd book comes out cuz i honestly can’t wait this long😩😩

Wow! This was such a good book! Also 5 stars is not to be taken lightly in my opinion so this is top tier for me and is probably one of the best books of all time.
I did not see where this book was going whatsoever and all the plot twists got me.*sigh*
Tracy is so good at writing 6d characters, and yes you read that right, 6d characters. Even Alice who got less page time then some characters felt so real. It feels like I have met each and every one of them and saw them with my own eyes. Especially Sel, who everyone except for me was mad at half the time.
The pacing was phenomenal to the point where I would read a chapter and then 45 minutes later I had read 5 chapters without realizing I had even read for more than 15 minutes.
I had blurry tear filled eyes at multiple points in this story which is also not normal for me. Every joy and sorrow was conveyed so well that I couldn’t help feeling it myself.
Now I just have to wait till March for the next one so please excuse me while I go and stare at a wall for an hour trying to figure out what to do with my life.

Beautiful and heart wrenching.
This book had me so emotional. One moment I’m cheering for Bree and Sel and the next I’m sobbing when Bree is speaking to her mother. This series is an emotional rollercoaster I don’t want to get off. Can’t wait for the next book and I can’t recommend this series enough. Just wow!
