Publisher Description

An insatiable heartthrob learns to fight for love in an emotionally charged novel from the bestselling author of Forever My Girl, now a major motion picture!

Blow will absolutely blow you away. Scorching-hot chemistry woven into a very poignant story of addiction.”—Sawyer Bennett

Bodhi McKnight has always had everything handed to him on a silver platter: fame, success, money, women. The raven-haired, blue-eyed hottie’s parents are Hollywood A-listers, and when he’s asked to join the all-male band Virtuous Paradox, his star shoots even higher. But so do expectations, leading Bodhi down a destructive path of addiction—until a drop-dead gorgeous guardian angel shows him her sizzling brand of tough love.

When Bodhi ends up in rehab, he doesn’t expect to meet someone as cool and down-to-earth as Kimberly Gordon. Unfazed by his rock-star persona, Kim would rather go horseback riding than fangirl over Bodhi, which is an unfamiliar—and refreshing—feeling. Kim’s the type of person he’s been looking for his entire life: someone who cares about him, not his career or his famous parents. When Bodhi falls, it’s fast and hard. He just hopes that he’s strong enough to protect their love from all the pressures and temptations of the outside world.

Good story, looking forward to more

I enjoyed this story. Kimberly works in a rehab where Bodhi shows up to get clean. They break rules as they fall in love. The grittiness of rehab is well written. Kimberly has doubts about Bodhi and his lifestyle, and whether she will truly fit in. There were moments that touched my heart, and I look forward to reading more in this series.

I received a copy of this story through Netgalley, and this is my unsolicited review.

Another hit for Heidi

Just when I think Heidi's writing can't get better, she puts out something like this. If I could give this more than five stars, I would. The story flowed perfectly, and kept me on the edge of my seat. I couldn't turn the pages fast enough. Highly recommend, and can't wait for Carson and Brayden's stories.

Research Needed!

This is a tough review to write. The blurb drew me in and I was looking forward to reading it.

Bodhi is given a choice to go to rehab or lose his family's support and place in Virtuous Paradox after a month long cocaine bender. Kimberly works at the facility that he's gone to and is assigned to be his "friend" while he's there.

I almost quit reading around 10% because of the amazing lack of research that was done into one of the underlying themes of this book, cocaine addiction. The symptoms of withdrawal described are not the symptoms of cocaine withdrawal and the "picture" of this rehab essentially further stigmatized drug treatment. That being said, I powered through hoping it would get better and I did finish. I did not connect to Bodhi or Kim. I didn't find either to be very likable and his addiction was wrapped up too cleanly. I did like the side characters that were introduced and am hopefully that the future books in this series will be better than the first.
