Pleasantly surprised!

This was a “free”download from iBooks. It was actually an engrossing read, with lots of plot twists. I really enjoyed the characters, although the ending felt a little rushed - I am guessing that the next books in the series will add a little more layers. It is a good stand alone novel, and I enjoyed it so much I just purchased the second in the series, “Betrayal”.

New Author For Me

I enjoy reading novels by authors new to me to see if the upcoming authors are going to be around for a long time.
Lisa will be around for a long time! She tells a good story and I could not read it in one sitting. But I picked it up every day and enjoyed it until the very last page!
I heartily recommend this book for everyone!

I don't usually care for spy type stories, but have to admit I enjoyed this one very much. Could be because it's all in this country and with a different twist. Very different! Lots of twists in fact. I'd like to read more with these characters.
