Highlight of the Volume
The six volume was a big highlight not because Chinatsu brutal loss but her birthday celebration was the peak for a few chapters, those few chapters were fabulous, the beach scene and the hotel scene were priceless, Blue Box has became phenomenal over the last few volumes and this is the turning point, Chinatsu just being a precious child during the beach scene during her birthday, she is a big kid now.
I’m Immersed!
I found out about this little series from a random YouTube recommended video, and I have to say, the more I read the better it gets! I binged through the first 4 volumes within a few days, just before the 5th came out, bought and read the 5th volume in one day, and have been waiting with baited breathe for Vol. 6. Happy to say I got through the entire thing in one sitting!
Blue box has been an incredible experience from the beginning. The pacing feels perfect and each volume that goes by unravels just enough more to keep me on the edge of my seat and not quite enough to make me feel overwhelmed. That with the amazing art style, cute awkward teen humor, and some really great characters make this series phenomenal! The romance is spicy enough but I really love the more tame, relatable coming-of-age aspects of it, that make it relatable. It isn’t just some dramatic overly sensual sex fest, it’s a story about regular high school kids trying to figure out relationships while also having normal teenage lives that are completely separate from the romance. Sports is really hard to make interesting for someone like me who’s not into it at all. Blue Box makes me interested in sports! I find it just as engaging to page through the intense second-by-second competition moments as the main plot. It’s been a joy! Can’t wait for Vol. 7!
