Bluefish's Secret Wish

Sara is a blue fish who has a very unusual dream; she wishes that she had wings so that she can fly like a bird. Sara doesn't for one moment believe that her dream could come true. Instead, she accepts her life in the sea, playing with her friends. Then one day something magical happens that turns her life upside down. This picture book story explores the idea that dreams can come true.


Blue Fish's Secret Wish represents:

*The opportunities that people give to us.

*The support and encouragement we receive from our friends and family.

*Our dreams and goals in life that we sometimes think are bigger than us and seem impossible to reach.

Author Bio: Ranya Malouf holds a B.A. degree in Journalism and Mass Communications and A.A.S degree in Graphic & Web Design.


She grew up in a middle class family in Jordan and was one of four sisters. Although they did not have much money, they placed much value on giving and helping families and children less fortunate than them. These values were taught to Mrs. Malouf by her parents and created the giving spirit and generous nature that is essentially the underlying message in her book.


Mrs. Malouf is devoting her time to help children in need. She has been interviewed on several TV channels, Newspapers, and Radio in both the USA and Jordan -expressing her passion and dream to help Children with Cancer.


Mrs. Malouf has just finished writing her second children's picture book which is the sequel to "Blue Fish's Secret Wish". In addition, she and her husband are currently working on turning her book into a musical play which will incorporate her first book "Blue Fish's Secret Wish" and her second book "Blue Fish & The Golden Dance".
