Really great book
I am reading these out of order it seems, as I read the sequel series to this first and there is another series beforehand. However, because I was familiar with a couple of the characters, I wasn’t lost about Georgi being a Wise (how that came about is in the previous series.) One review I read complained how the author brought up characters from the previous series and they didn’t know about those characters and almost seemed like name dropping. For me, it just makes me want to read the earlier series that much sooner. This was a fun, short, but suspenseful (but not too suspenseful) read. I didn’t want to put the book down each evening before bed. I can’t wait to dive into the next book.
