While on vacation from the city in a quaint North Carolina town, Nora runs into her archenemy, Charlie Lastra, the editor who rudely trashed her client’s new book. Nora’s aware that, according to the rules of a romance novel, their hate should turn to love—and the crazy part is that it does. A little predictable but loved her writing style, felt that the story was abit stretched, I loved the last chapters even better! Good read regardless.
Good read
This is the first book I’ve read from this author. I like her writing style but someone needs to tell her to fix the editing of this book. The texts messages are not differentiated from the talking dialogue so I am not sure who says what and is it text or person to person. This is really annoying!
The story was a bit long and Nora and Libby are such a basket case (more neurotic) 10 years after the Mom passes. I think I like Charlie the best, at least his personal baggage didn’t paralyze him like Nora.
I will try another book from this author but if the texting dialogue isn’t better defined from personal conversations then I will not be buying anything else from her.
