Publisher Description
How do you save your child from the darkness inside them—when it's already too late?
One rainy night, Jennifer Hanson comes home to a nightmare she can never unsee: her twelve-year-old son, Shane, is stabbing their family cat to death. For years, Jennifer has feared Shane’s coldness, the way he’s been since “that accident” that killed his father—a tragedy everyone calls a fluke. But now, it’s clear: something is broken inside him. Something is growing.
As her son shifts from troubled to terrifying, Jennifer is desperate to believe he can be saved. But when she discovers shocking photos of a dead girl on Shane’s phone—a girl the whole town thought died by misfortune—Jennifer must face what no mother wants to admit. How do you stop a child who was born evil?
WARNING: This is a pitch-black psychological thriller exploring the most unsettling corners of parental fear. If you prefer lighter suspense or steer clear of disturbing fiction, this one is not for you.

Devious
Actually, it’s not easy rating this book because i don’t want to give anything away.
Enjoyed the read very much. The writing style fit perfectly with the story.
I can say that the ending gave me a “psycho” moment, (the skeleton in the rocking chair.
Born evil
So good. Thought I had it figured out. But the end is really twisted. Can’t wait to read True evil
Magnificent
This book is amazing. The beginning is good but a little boring but it gets better the more you read, also the book is the right amount of predictable and it gets you thinking about what will happen next I give it a 10/10 would recommend 😁🤓
