Another Wonderful Novel by Lyn Gardner
I have thoroughly enjoyed every novel I’ve read by Lyn Gardner. Each is unique, well written, and engaging.
It was hard to put down .. so I didn't!
What an awesome book. Passionate and compassion not just with the main characters but all the other people in their lives. Good friends as well as good friends as employees that look out for each other. It wasn't about staff or what their roles were in Addison's or Joanna's lives, but the staff became much more than that in growing up. It wasn't about employer to employee but about family. No one said that our friends or our employees couldn't become a part of our lives. Yes there are distinctions in place because that's how businesses are run but sometimes when our own families dismisses us; we need the personal interactions of others to replace what we have lost. And while it's heartbreaking to think that families do abandon their own children, wives, husbands, etc., sometimes it's our friends who are the ones who pick up the slack.
I really love how this writer has not only developed her characters, scenes, but especially this story. I can't help but want to read more from this writer and look forward to more great reading.
What a Read
When I first seen this book in my cue to read, I was a bit skeptical. But as I began to read it, I understood why. This book is just too good not to read so I read it back to back. Normally I don’t do that, I usually take a break between rereading a book, but not this one. The characters are well thought out and developed, Addison is a bit much to take but once you understand where she came from and how got to be the way she is, you root for her by the end. Enjoy this book because I sure did...
