The richest bachelor in England plays matchmaker…for an heiress he wants for himself!
For beautiful, witty Lavinia Gray, there’s only one thing worse than having to ask the appalling Parth Sterling to marry her: being turned down by him.
Now the richest bachelor in England, Parth is not about to marry a woman as reckless and fashion-obsessed as Lavinia; he’s chosen a far more suitable bride.
But when he learns of Lavinia's desperate circumstances, he offers to find her a husband. Even better, he’ll find her a prince.
As usual, there’s no problem Parth can’t fix. But the more time he spends with the beguiling Lavinia, the more he finds himself wondering…
Why does the woman who’s completely wrong feel so right in his arms?
APPLE BOOKS REVIEW
Eloisa James does Jane Austen proud, setting up an extravagant Georgian-era costume drama and scrutinizing the rituals of courtship. Born to be Wilde is a delight for historical-romance fans. It follows Lady Lavinia Gray and England’s most eligible bachelor, Parth Sterling, whose verbal clashes are most likely masking their intense mutual attraction. James enlivens the duo's jousts with truly witty, sparkling dialogue. We can’t resist her whip-smart, fashionista heroine and particularly savored all the details about Lavinia’s sumptuous wardrobe and the styles of the day.

Born to be wilde
The series continues with another captivating romance, another sexy cover and another great story that was difficult to put down.
Delightful
Wonderful as always. Could not put it down!!!!!
Lackluster
Meh. This book was a bit all over the place and not memorable. The characters were so erratic and seemed quite immature. The story itself never really made sense and contained a lot fluff. Girl likes fashion, boy thinks she’s silly. Back and forth banter. Then there both suddenly in love, no understanding why. Very contrived plot. Boring, drawn out, fluff piece. Very disappointed.
