1174. Growing Pains in Boston continue. Fed up. That’s one way to describe the feeling of Boston residents toward the King and Parliament. After the Tea Party, people in Boston – and other colonies – started to think, “We’ve had enough.” They also started thinking, “We’re here, and you are way over there on the other side of the Atlantic Ocean, and you should stay there.” No one said “kiss off” in those days. But you can bet some people were thinking that about the King and the rest of the British rulers.
