Publisher Description

It’s the year 2062, post apocalypse, and you can’t tell the good guys from the bad anymore. Hint: the bad guys are the ones shooting at you. And all the rest is just bullshit. No big surprise, it’s the Corporate Coalition who runs the show now, their White Shirts and Directors employing a fleet of high-tech humanoid robots and an army of mercenaries to maintain law and order. That’s Reaper’s job description. In the American desert basin, in the hacker infested Green Zone, in the bowels of the Underground where millions of Menials are forced to live like serfs and slave for the Coalition to earn their keep, it’s jaded renegade cops like Reaper who enforce the law of the land. Right now Reaper’s whereabouts are unknown, however. That’s because he’s been busy tracking down an elusive superbot gone rogue with an infected hard drive, and he doesn’t have time for pointless communications. Where he’s at, where he’s been, where he’s going―that’s nobody’s business when Reaper’s hunting. In fact, the only reason he’d ever bother to touch base with The Center again is if he lassoes that digital derelict or runs out of ammo. But he’ll get Bot Boy if it’s the last thing he does, and when that job is finally done, then he plans on crashing Toledo next, the Hackrat capitol in the Green Zone. Kick some rebel ass. Blow a few buildings up. But it’s been months in the blazing hot sun and he’s trekked through thousands of miles of sand already, and still hasn’t caught up with his wonky humanoid prey. Sometimes Reaper sees it standing out there on the horizon, taunting and taking potshots at him with a high-powered rifle, laying booby-traps and improvised bombs along the deserted interstates. Sometimes Reaper feels invincible and is going to nab that scheming bot any minute, he thinks, take it out of commission pronto. And sometimes, though he doesn’t quite know why, it feels like he’s just pursuing the machine for the hell of it. Like maybe it’s just a mirage. Scyfy diehards, technogeeks, and survivalists: Apocalypse + BOT = get your game on.
