Bothwell Castle

Bothwell Castle is one of Scotland's great castles, and was heavily involved in the Scottish Wars of Independence, changing hands several times.
Originally a de Moray (Murray) castle, the castle became the property of the Black Douglases when the Murray heiress married the colourfully named Archibald the Grim, 4th earl of Douglas.
