Micah's self-hatred soon dominates their relationship until Allie accidentally uncovers his deepest secret. Her understanding and research are luckily sufficient to entice Micah into sharing his true desires and saving their bond. The kink isn't particularly intense and why mention a sex club if it barely features in the story? but fans of mild erotica will find this story reasonably satisfying.

Happy With This Erotic Book!
It kept me in my bath for several hours as I read Bound Beneath His Pain from cover to cover. I’ve just purchased the next in the series before I even toweled off!! Stacey is very good at erotica story weaving!
Hot "Gentleman's Dom"
I have read a number of books by this author and this one does not disappoint. This is a spin off series of this author's Club Sin series. Micah recently bought out the real estate agent where Allison works. She is offered a position in his company, which she takes. There is definitely an instant connection between these two. You can almost feel it. <icha is part of the Dominant's council (DC); four men who are friends who each own their own sex club. I found this to be a very tame version of BDSM. Yes it is mentioend but there are not scenes in any of the clubs. In fact, Micah is referred to as a "Gentlman's Dom". Hence, this was gentle book about BDSM. Don't get me wrong, Micha is definitelya powerful, alpha male. Allision is a strong, configent, and successful woamn. I like this author's style of writing. The charaters are strong, independent individuals. Theya re liebable, relatable, well developed and over all good. The story flows easily and the dialogue back and froth is straight-foward and realistic. This is the typical angst but it is not overly done and way out there. It makes snese to the story. The secret that was alluded to that Micah had ws not very earth shattering. It was a little anticlimactic when finally found out what it is was. I had to ask myself was that all there was to it. However, that did not make me like the book any less. While there is not a cliffhanger, it does end with a look at what the next book is going to be about and I can't wait to read it.

Dirty Little Secret series had been introduced at the end of the Club Sin Series. The new series centers around the men of the DC. However this series is a little different from the previous. The first story in the series, Bound Beneath His Pain doesn't revolve around the BDSM clubs in San Francisco but rather the Dom millionaire who finds the one woman who can see through his pain.
Micah Holt is 'an enigma and one with a dark past.' He's the founding member of the Dominants Counsel and a very successful Real estate mogul. Micah is an interesting character. He owns a club that caters to his fetishes however he doesn't attend. When his demons need to feed he turns to his friend with benefits. It's his demons that have held him back from a real relationship. His past is dictating his present, he has villainezed himself.
Allie Bennett accepts a job at Micah's agency and becomes the eye of his obsession. Allie has secrets of her own. Micah aggressively pursues Allie. She pushes back because she doesn't want her secret to get out. When they finally come together one of Micah's secrets is revealed causing Allie to run.
Allie is the light to Micah's dark. She's innocent to his demons. Micah holds his demon at bay but Allie fights to have all of him. Micah pigeonholed Allie as innocent and pure, missing the signs that they may not be so different. The story has the right amount of angst and sexiness. I enjoyed the ending. I can't wait for the next book in the series, there's a glimpse of the next couple at the end of the book. 5 Stars!
