Bit of a slow start but quickly picked up. Great story and ended up being a very good historical romance! Definitely worth reading!

Loved the book. Loved the characters. Loved the steamy love/sex scenes. Fantastic read.

When I got this book through BookBub the description did not tell of the odd sexual scenes. They are not my cup if tea and I never would have chosen the book even though it was free. Will I read another, NO!
The mystery part was excellent.
