Breakthrough
This is an interesting behind the scenes look at the stings, punks, and undercover activities of the guy who brought down Acorn, exposed voter fraud and other government corruption. As a conservative I agree with the view point that corruption needs to be rooted out.
While what they call citizen journalism is an effective way to expose corruption it has a big flaw as a book. The story is dripping with self pity and perceived persecution from every person who is not in the inner circle.
I come away with mixed feelings about the way they go about telling the world about the misdoings of establishment and government figures. Under the excuse that the end justifies the means this is Michael Moore type, one sided reporting. Their goal seems to be to catch other people with their pants down then point their fingers and laugh at them. What is the difference from something like 60 Minutes. If I watch 60 Minutes I feel like they allow the other side to present their point of view.

Great book. I'm ashamed that things like this go on in our country. Thank god there are men like James and his friends who show us what's really going on. Thank you James. You are a hero.
