Starting a new high school her junior year, Clara is determined to break through the walls she has created and actually let people in. Her very first day, she comes across Gabe. On the outside, Gabe seems like your typical popular guy: handsome, rich and every girl's dream. He shows a tough façade, not allowing girls to get too close. But from the first moment that Clara walks into English class, her green eyes see straight through him. Cliché, right?
As Clara and Gabe become closer, others try to use Clara's past to their advantage. With Gabe and their friends by her side, Clara fights to prove that her past doesn't necessarily define her, but it does make her stronger.
