He’d never been interested in settling down.
Until he met her.
Theo Young was single and free. And he repeated single.
Eva Moreno—sports blogger, journalist, and new addition to the team’s on-camera crew—had always been a thorn in his side. She was smart. She was talented. She was extremely good at her job—a job that seemed to revolve around chronicling his “exploits.”
So, all that smart and talented (and it had to be said, beautiful) pointed in his direction wasn’t a good thing.
Because she wasn’t just a thorn in his side.
She was a woman who made him think of forever.

Will they let insecurities push the other away?
Breathe is the seventh book set within the Breakers Hockey series, but could be read as a stand alone. Eva thought she had finally broken through a barrier with Theo when he ices her out again. She’s hesitant to let him close with her life spiraling out of control, but will Theo finally realize how good they can be together, or will they both let their insecurities push the other away?
Oh man! This book was so good! I knew it was going to end in a happily ever after, and it definitely does, but I was so worried about Eva and Theo and what their ending would actually look like! But all of their ups and downs, twists and hardships are completely worth it in the end. This book made me cry and giggle and swoon, and I loved every second I spent within this book. Eva is dependable, always working to make her family happy, doing anything she can to make ends meet. She has this underlying vulnerability, though, that made her sweet and attentive and made me want to hug her so she could just breathe. Hehe, see what I did there? Theo hasn’t had a charmed life, but he’s always had his mom’s support. He has a crazy backstory that made him super hesitant to liking Eva, but oh man, once his heart opens up just a little bit, he was a fantastic man that you couldn’t help but liking and cheering for. I loved them together. They were passionate and steamy, but I really enjoyed the ways they helped lift the other up. In times where they were in their own head, the other could come and help. It was beautiful. I loved this book. I love just about any book that Ms. Faber writes and I am already looking forward to the next one!
