Brer Anansi, the Trickster

These books were written for the enjoyment of children, especially boys. Anansi, a mischievous spider, finds himself constantly learning some of the life's most important lessons. It includes Anansi showing his very cunning side when he coaxed Tamandua to a meal of termite with an ulterior motive. Then his more human and gentler side as Anansi rescue Pig from the clutches of the snake. Then there is an honest side when he admits to learning life's lessons from Aripaima.
