Good read
Well written and an interesting story so far. A few of the flashbacks felt redundant and unnecessary, like I got kind of tired of hearing the same stuff about Avery whose significance is still very unclear. And this is just a small thing but…what’s up with this author and people’s necks? Sweat dripped down her neck. She swatted a mosquito off the back her neck. Hair stood on the back of her neck. My husband who is also reading this didn’t really notice until I said something, but she has a thing for talking about what’s going on with characters’ necks lol. Aside from those minor things I think it’s a great read so far.
Needed better dialogue and character dev
Interesting story, but the characters lacked substance for me and fell flat.
