Briarwood Elementary School: Building Our Dream School

In 2015, Briarwood joined a districtwide one-to-one technology initiative, allowing classrooms to be transformed and learning to be reimagined. In the same year, Briarwood students, staff, and family members broke ground on a new building, designed to better integrate technology. Teachers throughout Briarwood are reinventing classroom lessons to provide personalized learning that helps students explore personal topics of interest and learn at their best level. The access to technology has provided new ways to transform classrooms into hubs of innovation and creativity and has allowed for students and teachers to connect with community members and experts outside the classroom walls.
