There are only two things that Lenny and his younger brother Bree can’t stand: hipsters and moments in life that can’t be explained using hip hop lyrics. Brooklyn has not been the same since coffee shops and juice bars began replacing bodegas and 99¢ stores. In spite of drugs, gangs, crooked cops, and a single parent home, Lenny and Bree have pretty much figured out how to navigate the crazy streets of New York City. That is until a sudden turn of events causes Lenny to see that he won’t be allowed to simply enjoy the culture he loves so much- he must now defend it. No Biggie lyric could ever prepare Lenny and Bree for the unthinkable plot-twist to their Brooklyn story.
