A month has passed since the portals opened to connect the two worlds. Ramsey and Brit are living together in the City. Darren now rules the City, and he is trying his best to create a fair world that shares their technology and has trade agreements with the villages. Meanwhile, Ally has been living in the contemporary other world with the Ramsey from that world and exploring everything that her world has not been able to offer her. Everything seems perfect.
