About the Author

Debra is a published poet from a small community, Shiloh, in Micanopy, Florida. She is an education major of the University of South Alabama in Mobile and taught in elementary and middle schools for 17 years. She and Allan reside in Central Florida. They have one son and daughter-in-law, Ryan and Kim, and one daughter and son-in-law, Sarah and Matt, and seven grandchildren.


About the Illustrator

Growing up in Florida with author, Pam has been drawing since childhood. The serene countryside inspired her to sketch southern landscapes including white sandy beaches and green mountain ranges. Today, she lives in Georgia with her college sweetheart of 33 years, and they enjoy spending time with their three sons and families.


About the Photographer

Born and raised in the Southeast US, Joseph has spent time exploring many different interests. From catching fish in the Hiwassee River of Tennessee to building tents in the Franklin D. Roosevelt State Park of midwest Georgia to teeing off in Jacksonville Beach, Florida, he enjoys pursuing a variety of activities. As an entrepreneur and recent, published photographer, new opportunities are on the horizon.
