From #1 New York Times bestselling author Karen Kingsbury comes the third and final novel in an unforgettable series about four friends and the divine intervention that changes their lives forever.
Against the advice of her doctor, Mary Catherine moves to Uganda to work at a new orphanage. Whatever time she has left, Mary Catherine wants to spend it helping children—especially since she is unable to have children of her own. The only problem is Marcus Dillinger, the Major League Baseball player she was never meant to fall in love with. But neither Marcus nor Mary Catherine’s other friends—Tyler Ames and Sami Dawson—know just how serious her heart condition is.
Still, Marcus suspects something isn’t right. After months of silence, a divinely timed letter from Mary Catherine leads him on a desperate life-or-death mission to get her to a US hospital before time runs out. Meanwhile, as Sami and Tyler prepare to marry, the group receives shocking news that changes everyone’s plans.
The team of angels walking is busier than ever in this epic battle between life and death. Brush of Wings is a poignant tale of love, sacrifice, and the power of faith.

Brush of Wings
I read this book in one day. I couldn't put it down after reading the first two in the series. It's always a great reminder that we do not wrestle against flesh and blood and that God hears our prayers, regardless of the situation.
Loved the ending, but it drug out way too long!
This book!! This was my first time to read any of Karen Kingsbury books. I love Tessa Afshar, Connilyn Cossette, and Francine Rivers. They are my absolute favorite authors. I stumbled into this series and was impressed by how many books Karen has written. 2 stars because it was a continuation of indecision from the 2nd book in this series, and the indecision went on and on, like painfully so. I finally skipped to chapter 17 and it finally began to pick up again. Seemed like it was strung out to make a 3rd book for financial profit, which was really disappointing! This could have been two great books, and much better reads. So turned off they charged more for this 3rd book, after all of the indecision, but it did have a good ending, so there’s that. I’ve never given such a low rating, but I felt compelled due to the content struggle. I’m a huge fan of biblical history, and Christian fiction, loved the scriptures quoted, and for that I will try another one of this authors books, but I really need the content to hold my interest. Fingers crossed!!
