Brute is my favorite kind of motorcycle club MC. A protective Uber alpha with a soft spot for those he loves and will protect them at any cost. I fell hard for him the first time Brute meets Kenzie in a bar. I really loved Kenzie’s character. She’s strong, knows her own mind and can hold up against the MC club and those who threaten to take it down. Even when Brute’s past comes knocking and threatens to take him down. And watching Brute not only fall for Kenzie but her daughter, Aubrey, was pure joy.
Paige Reisenfeld and Christian Leatherman do the narration and they make a great team. Paige did a great job at the various voices and brought depth to Kenzie’s voice.
I loved Christian as Brute. His variety for each character was perfect for this story, especially Brute’s father. His southern accent is sexy and how he does the father is a hoot. I felt like I was smack dab in the south.
