Built on the Rock

The Evangelical Lutheran Synod was organized in 1918 at Lime Creek Lutheran Church near Lake Mills, Iowa. In June of 1993 it celebrated its 75th anniversary, in commemoration of which this historical volume, Built On The Rock, was prepared.


This volume was originally published by the anniversary committee of the Evangelical Lutheran Synod in Mankato, Minnesota in 1993. This electronic edition is part of a series of histories re-published in preparation for the 100th anniversary in 2018 of the reorganization of the Norwegian Synod.
