Publisher Description

The decision to have surgery is similar to embarking on a journey.  It requires planning, preparation, getting familiar with your route, being prepared for unexpected events, and finally taking the first step to your destination.

Making this experience a positive one isn’t difficult if you participate in your care, as a teammate.  At evo we strive to make the process as simple, safe and comfortable as possible, but we can’t do it without you.

This is why we’ve created this resource to help you complete the journey and accomplish our mutual goal… a successful result.

This guide was written specifically for you, our patient, as a resource for basic questions you may have before, during and after your recovery process.

It’s been written in a way that if you’re a patient of another surgeon who is not part of the evo team, it will still serve as useful resource for your questions.

If you are not our patient... please remember you must share with your surgeon that you are using this resource, and communicate your concerns and understand the differences in the procedure you are going to have performed by your surgeon compared to what we perform at evo.

The majority of what applies to our evo bunion correction applies to the average bunion correction.  But it’s important that you take the time to ask questions of your surgeon so you are in sync with your doctor and achieve the most successful result.
