Burias Island

Burias Island is one of the Three Major Islands of Masbate. Burias Island has two municipalities which is Claveria and San Pascual. The name Burias came from the word Buri which means “Palm Trees”. But, besides Burias, Masbate has also another 2 major islands called Ticao and Masbate.
