Non-stop action!
You should have stayed away. But don’t worry. I’ll be back and finish what I started years ago.
Hang on to your seats - if this is a debut novel, get ready for many more wonderful hours to read. Melanie Hutton is a forensic anthropologist, a career choice made partly due to being kidnapped and beaten years earlier, barely escaping with her life. Unfortunately her best friend did not escape. With no memories of that horror except the desire to find out what happened to her friend, she returns to the place that used to be home.
The action never lets up, leaving you guessing who could possibly be the perpetrator and why he would want to finish the job. Between stalking, poison and more, I must admit I began to wonder if she could survive. Why, after 15 years, could it conceivably be so important for her to die? The author kept me speculating right up till the end, evidence of a fabulous suspense story!
