Hooked on Bridgette, Henri, and the magic of NOLA
I devoured this book in one night. Kitty Bardot has a beautiful way of writing characters and situations that feel so real. Her imagery and character development is amazing. I fell head over heals in love with Henri, a sweet and loyal man - while also finding so much of myself in Bridgette, a young woman haunted by her mothers codependency with men and strangers.... Henri is all in, determined to give Bridgette the love story of her life, but will she let her walls down long enough to discover he is more than just a handsome stranger she met at the voodoo shop?
