Cabin Fever
Publisher Description
What happens when a grumpy mountain man's life is interrupted by a smart-mouthed beauty in a wedding dress?
Olivia Love was living the perfect life, until one moment changed everything. On the day of her destination wedding, with the mountains as her romantic backdrop, she catches her fiancée with another woman and does the only thing she can think of - she runs. In her wedding dress. In the middle of nowhere. But when she stumbles upon a cabin in the woods, she finds more than shelter - a daunting mountain man, Carter Fitzwilliam, turns her world upside down.
Can these two opposites attract, or will they push each other over the mountain?
Customer Reviews
Ummm...
Overall the book was good... kind of? There was some really great moments and the concept was good, but the writing was cheesy and weird throughout. The main characters were unlikable and the things they would say were awkward and uncomfortable sometimes. I would be cringing through it but it was a good plot line. The ending was rushed (and once again cheesy). Left me confused whether I liked it or not.
Drags out
The writing is boarder line childish. Extremely repetitive. I skimmed a bunch of pages. When the confrontation between Carter and Derrick happened, it was lackluster …juvenile back and forth, sounds like two middle school kids arguing.
Also not a fan of phrases instead of cursing… “what n in the fried pickles ..” “what in the fudge packing fudgsciles…”
Fun read
Started slowly with typical “Rich girl” cluelessness but turns into an Interesting story with explicit descriptions of sex & expletives. Evolves into a mystery….
