This book is a compilation of over 75 innovative games for children of all age groups. These fun filled games would help in keeping the children playfully involved and impart knowledge at the same time. They would be useful at home, in educational institutions, clubs, neighborhood parks and at social gatherings like birthday parties, picnics and during travel. Most of the games have been played in some form or the other from times immemorial. These games help in developing the mental, physical and behavioral abilities of the children. The internet age has minimized the real interaction among children. The games given in this book would help parents and anchors to keep the children away from the over indulgence with modern day gadgets. This would instead encourage children to get involved in meaningful activities and promote interaction through entertainment.


About The Author


A graduate in Botany (Hons.) from Delhi University and a postgraduate in Biochemistry from Rajasthan Agricultural University, Udaipur, Abhilasha Mathur has earned a variety of experiences in scientific writing and social mobilization. She has worked for the International Federation for Women in Agriculture (IFWA), New Delhi, where she was associated with the production of a training manual on environmentally sound technologies for women in agriculture. Abhilasha has recently undergone a training of trainers on Climate Change, Agriculture and Food Security. She also briefly worked at the NBPGR of the ICAR, New Delhi as a Research Associate. At present she is associated with the local welfare groups as a social activist mainly working for environmental protection and civic issues.
