Give it a try
I downloaded this as a free book; I liked the story for the most part. I really wish the book was more detailed and had more world building. This had such great potential. However, for a free story, it was pretty decent, the writing is ‘okay’ and the story moves really fast. It’s a short book and straight to the point. Give it a try!
Bland but quick and fun concept
This read more like a book proposal and not a finished work - if the author chose to really flesh out the scenes, world building, and the magic system I think this would be better. The mc has the potential to be a dark and fierce character, but her choices are never justified due to the quick pacing. Setting in the modern age was a mistake.
Not any darker than the original grimms tales, just dark and unapologetically adult (and still managed to be rash and bland) loved the little references to the source material.
Would only rec to a friend looking for a quick read. Would not read again.
Cinderella but vampy!
Amazing story, it gave Cinderella but if she really turned up on her family, with her vampire lover. Perfect balance of the possessive nature Beau has.
Wish it was longer though
