Call of Duty’s single-player campaign modes have never been especially difficult. You move from one building to the next, shooting waves of enemies who die in just a few hits, while you soak up theirs (at least on standard difficulty). In taking the series back to its World War II roots, Sledgehammer crafted a campaign that must be approached with focus and caution.
