Angels. Demons. Holy relics. And a whole lot of trouble in between.
★★★★★ If you enjoy Indiana Jones, Lara Croft and every other adventurer in between...don't look further, you just found your new series. ~ Reader Review
I have the unique ability to walk into people's dreams. When a former friend checks into the hospital in a catatonic state, my need to help her overrides my common sense and I dream walk her.
Worst mistake ever.
That fatal error puts me on the radar of a fallen angel, Azriel, who turns my calm, quiet world upside down. Azriel demands I use my talent to find the Horn of Gabriel or lose everything dear to me. Even worse? His Heavenly counterpart insists on hiring me for the same job.
My refusal to help comes at a steep price and forces me into the quest for the holy relic. Torn between good and evil, I'm trapped in my own nightmare when I uncover a family prophecy claiming I'm the Keeper of the Holy Relics.
Now I'm faced with the most important decision of my life—accept my duty as Keeper, and the only person who can stop the coming war between Heaven and Hell—or stand back and watch the forces of good and evil destroy all mankind.

First book in the Anna Walker series
I know it isn’t the Anna Walker series but it seems fitting. This introduces the journey Anna endures when she learns she is predetestined for a specific task. What amazes me is that this book can imply many meanings. We are in Anna’s perspective and get her thoughts and happenings. We get her background and learn why she feels the way she feels. Interactive. Passionate with all the emotions and interesting encounters with both Fallen and Heavenly beings. I like how God is real and how one person can play an important role (like Jesus, John the Baptist, Moses, Paul etc). We are left with a mystery of how Anna will accomplish her tasks and if she will submit to temptation. Great story. Eager for book 2, Blood and Bone.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
