Canal Zone

A novel set in Egypt in the early Nineteen-fifties, when Britain maintained both Army and Air Force Bases beside the Suez Canal, from Port Said to Suez. A young R.A.F. National Serviceman and an Army Intelligence Corps. Sergeant get caught up in the conflict when an Islamic extremist group (The Moslem Brotherhood), step up their campaign to oust the British from Egyptian soil, starting with the Canal Zone.
