Just switched from a point and shoot
I love this book. It's been my number one companion as I've made the transition from a Panasonic Lumix point and shoot to a this pretty basic dSLR. That can be a jarring transition but this dummies book has made it much simpler.
I had little knowledge of REAL photography. It's become a newfound hobby and I give much credit to the author of this book. It's a very helpful beginner's guide that really spiked my interest.
